Charity trustees are the people who share ultimate responsibility for governing a charity and directing how it is managed and run. They may be called trustees, the board, the management committee, governors, directors or something else

If a meeting is quorate, there are enough people here to make official decisions by voting.

 
 

A proposal is a plan or suggestion, especially a formal or written one, put forward for consideration by others.

To ratify is to confirm by expressing consent, approval, or formal sanction.

 

Audited accounts are a company's or charities financial records that have been officially examined to check that they are accurate.

 

An annual general meeting (commonly abbreviated as AGM, also known as the annual meeting) is a meeting of the general membership of an organization. These organizations include membership associations and companies with shareholders.

 

Management Committee, who are annually elected, help with achieving the charities aims and objectives.
